The countdown has officially begun....

A baby brother or baby sister for Big Brother Hunter?!?!? In just a few short weeks we will know! If you ask Hunter, it is already determined....and it better be a BOY! In fact, when I showed him these two outfits, he cried when he saw the 'sister' one and said "I don't WANT a sister", then an hour later, I found him trying to hide the little socks!

Of course, Brian and I are totally excited to welcome either one! However, we are Johnson's so I have a sneaking suspicion Hunter will get his wish!!! We will update everyone as soon as the little bundle arrives....and hopefully by then it will have a name!!!

This year was the first year Hunter could really tell me what he wanted to be...and be excited about it!! So, he wanted to be a turtle! I found this Ninga turtle costume and called it good!! Although, I may not get an award for originality, he LOVED it!! Maybe next year we will get alittle more creative!! We did have ALOT of fun this year, b/c Hunter really got into it!!

Well, it's only been about 8 months since my last post....so, I thought I better make it good! So, first things first: While, pumpkin carving was quite an exciting event at our house this year, we have an even MORE exciting event coming up. Hunter is going to be a BIG brother!!! Although we have known for a while, we received the 'official' news Friday! It was so great to see the little 'wild thing' bouncing all over the place(a typical Johnson), pausing just for a second to focus in on that strong little heartbeat...which was music to this mama's ears!! We can't wait till we can frame another one of these!!!!

Actually, I can't complain, he's doing remarkably well. It was just when I brought home some new, what I thought were 'cool' undies, this is what he did with them. It turns out he prefers the ones just like his daddy...boxer briefs...which is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on a two year old booty!

Hunter's 2nd birthday!

Yes, I know, Hunter's birthday was in September. But, our home computer has been down, and the pictures on one of our cameras takes FOREVER to upload at Brian's office. But, today, I finally found some patience! So, I'm going to do a couple of posts to get caught up!

I LOVE that Hunter's birthday is in the middle of September, because the weather is always PERFECT!!! Enjoy these sweet pics. It sure was a blast!
